Tuesday Funday

Tuesday September 26, 2017 –

Today was the last day my neighbor and I got to hangout, but we might squeeze in another one, before I move next Tuesday to North Oshawa. I always enjoy our happenings and today was no ifferent…maybe alittle. Heh 😛

First, we had ourselves some coffee, than shared a Dr. Oetker Spinach Pizza, some random discussions about things I cannot recall, and I ask my friend to make a video of me unboxing my :”I Love OSHAWA” mugs I got from VistaPrint. Afterwards, we hungout in his man cave. He is hard to hear, so he typed on his desktop what he wanted to tell me, and I read it off his monitor. Since he can type as fast as he could talk, this was great. Lol. That was a fun conversation. I would later head back upstairs to leave. I said “goodbye” to my friends parents as a neighbor. His Mom thanked me for leaving a mug as a gift. I said bye to my friend and neighbor and left through the garage. I been his neighbor for 7 years.

In the evening, I would go to the Brain Injuries Association of Durham (BIAD) for Youth Engagement Services (YES). I haven’t been out to the last two because I was attending the Alexandria Bounty Potluck and Drum Circle, and Oshawa Accessibility Advisory Committee.

It was nice to see everyone. YES Staff was serving Chicken Alfredo for supper. I had just ate, so one of the staff put some in a styrofoam box to take home. I had a look at the games shelf, there were some cool games: Sorry, Battleship, Guess Who, Clue, Pop-up and Connect Four. I ask my buddy if he wanted to play Connect Four, he said sure.

The YES Staff gave an announcement and notice about an uncoming event…

Tonight we did karaoke. I sang, Blink-182 – All The Small Things. It was nice to be back. I left around 8:15pm to catch Pulse bus Downtown.

On the Pulse, I saw an acquaintence. He saw me too. I waited till we got off the Pulse bus at King Street and Centre Street to talk. He likes to talk conspiracies and shows on Coast to Coast AM. I like Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, and its been awhile since I heard a show. Topics include: UFOs, Giants, Illuminati, Angels, Climate Change, Esoteric Teachings, and many more fringe type topics. The guy would get the King bus home and I walked to Tim Horton’s on Athol Street for a coffee, 2 chocolate dip donuts, follow a bit of the Blue Jays game and read a couple pages of The Convoluted Universe Book Two.

It was almost 10pm, I could pop over to the Stag’s head to watch the remainder of the Blue Jay game (they won 9-4) and sing a karaoke song. When I got to Stag’s head, I met most the karaoke regulars and friends. The karaoke MC had my stack of songs ready for me. I decide to sing a new song, Jack Johnson – Sitting, Waiting, Wishing.

I would later say my goodbyes. Outside the Stag’s head, my friend noticed my DANZIG patch on my hoodie. He mentioned that he loves that band. I thought, “Yeah, DANZIG is pretty badass.” I bought the patch at Let it Rock (downtown, Oshawa). I would catch the 402 King bus at 11pmish and go home.
